There’s an split between the stairs of Fed Hall on Wall St. Half the stairs are cordoned off by fences for the Occupy protestors to well, occupy and protest, while the other half are fully open, for tourists to rest their legs while a massive hangs overhead telling people to vote to restore the George Washington statue in the middle.
It makes for an interesting Duality.
