Joel Zimmer Photography - Last Stop Financial District, Manhattan, NY I got onto the subway platform after a late night at work and was super bummed to see that the next train would be there in 14 minutes, so I did my usual thing: turned up my headphones and waited for the train to arrive. Needless to say I was surprised when a train showed up and while I hopped on, everyone else got off the train. As I took my headphones out of my ears to hear the announcement I looked up and saw that this was the last stop on the train. Then the doors closed and I was on the train. I ended up seeing part of the old South Ferry station and had a good chat with the conductor, who informed me that we were turning around and would be back at the station I boarded at in no time. We got back to the station just in time for me to switch platforms and get on the train heading back to Brooklyn. All in all, a pretty good adventure.
